Finally....we're in Madras

Finally, we arrived in India and made it to our hotel-another1: 00 a.m arrival. We watched Indian movies and slept for most of the flight. Indian movies are a combination of soap opera and MTV with lots of dancing (pelvic thrusts seem to be the preferred movement) and bad plot lines. The actresses are large breasted and good looking- the men are large and fleshy…

Arrival at the airport in Madras was relatively painless. We got a prepaid taxi voucher and headed to our hotel. We were back in the chaos of the third world-lots of horn honking and people and animals by the side of the road. We couldn’t sleep so we went to the 24-hr coffee shop in the hotel and got toasted cheese sandwiches and something resembling tomato soup. We were up until 3:30 am. Our body clocks were so messed up…up at 7:30 am.
